Although every body is different and individual movement
patterning varies, the principles of structural support are the same regardless
of job, position or movement. Our assessments and on-site consultations are
designed to educate workers about these basic principles as well as provide
specific strategies for problem solving.
We provide on-site movement analysis with employees in their
work settings while we reinforce the principles of skeletal support and
alignment. Because we introduce movement options while the person's body is in
motion or posture, workers experience options for movement while performing
their jobs. This allows new patterns to become more comfortable and efficient in
less time.
Specific areas of focus include:
-
repetitive motion
-
low back risk and injury
prevention
-
ergonomic support
-
movement re-patterning education
-
corrective practices and equipment
